First 5 Kern partners with local providers, funding and providing program guidance for services that nurture and support children 0–5 and their families.

Family Resource
Centers

FRCs provide direct family support services in non-clinical settings and may provide parenting classes, home visiting, referrals, and kindergarten readiness classes.

2025 ACEs Conference

On May 21, the 2025 Kern County ACEs Conference will bring together partners to inform, discuss, and strategize on advancing trauma-informed care practices within both public and private organizations.
