Annual Reports and Audits

First 5 Kern carefully and competently exercise fiscal oversight in distributing and monitoring the tax dollars entrusted to it. The First 5 Kern Commission reports to the state and community through various means.

Each year, a financial audit is conducted by independent auditors, who have consistently given the Commission commendations for the excellence of its stewardship.

In accordance with state requirements, the Commission generates a comprehensive annual report on overall program effectiveness and expenditures to the State Commission.
