First 5 Kern’s philosophy and policy for implementing the confidentiality requirements are explained in detail during this presentation and are in place to protect the privacy of families’ information while providing vital services. It is the responsibility of funded program staff to know and adhere to the confidentiality protocol.
After completing Confidentiality Training, funded program staff will know how to avoid risks, discomforts or inconveniences for the children and families whose personal data are collected, monitored and reported.
Training is available online through ‘GoToWebinar’ and is usually held twice each month. Funded providers’ new staff are required to attend training once during a current funding cycle [2015-2020]. Sessions last approximately 30 minutes and an online link is sent to programs by email each month, in advance.
Simply click on the registration link within the email and follow the prompts. Reminder notices are sent to registering participants.
