On March 6, 2019, First 5 Kern celebrated 20 years of working to strengthen children and families in Kern County. The celebration included a program featuring historical highlights, past commissioners, a timeline of key events and more. The event featured guest speakers from a few long-standing partner programs and commissioners past and present.
